Executive Chef – Catering Services

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations for a leading catering services organization in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing food production, maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen teams, controlling costs, and ensuring exceptional food service across catering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage kitchen and food production activities.
- Plan menus, recipes, and food presentation standards in line with client requirements.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation across all catering sites.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, chefs, and food production teams.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, and inventory to achieve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and store teams for ingredient sourcing and stock management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Oversee production planning for large-scale catering events and daily operations.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance requirements.
- Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role.
- Experience in catering services, industrial catering, hospitality, hotels, or large-scale food production operations.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food costing, inventory management, and kitchen administration.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate large kitchen teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in bulk food production and catering operations.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or high-volume food service operations.
- Creative approach to menu development and food presentation.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
