Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Coordinator to support our Skilling Programs focused on Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) and Electrician trades. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for establishing industry partnerships, facilitating candidate placements, conducting placement drives, and ensuring successful employment outcomes for trained candidates.
The ideal candidate should have excellent networking, communication, and employer engagement skills, along with experience in the skilling or vocational training ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Employer & Industry Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing units, garment industries, electrical contractors, EPC companies, OEMs, staffing agencies, and other potential employers.
- Identify suitable job opportunities for candidates trained in Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) and Electrician trades.
- Build a strong employer database and generate placement opportunities on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with HR teams and recruiters to understand hiring requirements.
Candidate Placement
- Organize campus interviews, placement drives, and recruitment events.
- Match candidates with suitable job opportunities based on their skills and employer requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules and ensure candidates are well-prepared.
- Track candidate selection, joining, and retention status.
Candidate Support
- Conduct employability sessions covering interview preparation, resume building, workplace readiness, communication skills, and professional behavior.
- Guide candidates throughout the placement process.
- Address candidate concerns before and after joining.
Placement Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate placement records and MIS.
- Prepare weekly and monthly placement reports.
- Track placement targets, joining rates, retention, and employer feedback.
- Ensure documentation is maintained as per project and donor requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers, Trainers, and Centre Coordinators to achieve placement targets.
- Coordinate with CSR partners and government stakeholders whenever required.
- Support project audits and documentation related to placements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, Management, or any relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in placements, recruitment, employer engagement, or skilling programs.
- Experience working with NSDC, CSR, livelihood, or vocational training projects will be preferred.
Required Skills

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
