Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor company expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Office-based or hybrid work environment, depending on company policy.
- Occasional overtime may be required during month-end, year-end closing, or audit periods.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
