Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head – Injection Moulding to lead and manage the complete plant operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in plastic injection moulding, production management, process control, quality, maintenance and manpower management.
Experience with LG or an LG Vendor Company is highly preferred. Candidates who have worked directly with LG or handled LG-related production/business operations will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete Injection Moulding Plant operations and ensure smooth day-to-day production.
- Develop and execute production plans to achieve quality, productivity and delivery targets.
- Monitor machine utilization, OEE, cycle time, rejection, rework and overall productivity.
- Lead production, quality, maintenance, tooling and related plant teams.
- Ensure effective manpower planning, shift management and workforce productivity.
- Monitor injection moulding process parameters and ensure process stability.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room and Maintenance teams for mould and machine-related issues.
- Minimize machine breakdown, production downtime and process losses.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Drive 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor raw material consumption, production losses and overall manufacturing costs.
- Review daily/monthly production reports, KPIs and plant performance.
- Ensure timely delivery as per customer production schedules.
- Handle customer audits, process audits and corrective/preventive actions.
- Develop and motivate the plant team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, discipline and company policies.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Plastic Engineering or equivalent.
- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, plastics processing and production systems.
- Proven experience in handling a complete manufacturing plant.
- Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of OEE, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and KPI management.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates with prior experience in LG or LG Vendor Companies will be strongly preferred. Experience in handling LG-related production, quality, process or customer requirements will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
