Job Title: PGT – Physical Education
Qualification: Master's in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) — mandatory. B.P.Ed also preferred. NET/CTET or state-level TET qualification is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Physical Education, with specific experience handling Grades 11–12 (senior secondary level).
Working Hours: 11:10 AM – 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and conduct physical education classes for students of Grades 11–12, aligned with Rainbow International School's curriculum and board requirements (CBSE Board )
- Develop age-appropriate fitness, sports, and wellness programs to build students' physical skills, teamwork, and discipline
- Train and coach students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level sports competitions
- Organize and supervise school sports events, annual sports day, tournaments, and fitness assessments
- Maintain sports equipment, playgrounds, and indoor sports facilities; ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Monitor student fitness levels and maintain records of physical performance and health parameters
- Guide students on nutrition, injury prevention, and general wellness
- Mentor and identify talented students for advanced training/scholarships in specific sports
- Coordinate with class teachers and school administration on student well-being and PE-related documentation
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, sports techniques, and safety standards in physical education
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of sports rules, techniques, and training methods across multiple disciplines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills
- Ability to manage large groups of senior secondary students
- First-aid and basic sports injury management knowledge
- Good organizational skills for managing events and competitions
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
