Receptionist / Parent Relations Executive (PRE) / Admission Counselor

Job Purpose:
The Receptionist / Parent Relations Executive (PRE) / Admission Counselor serves as the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors, and prospective families. The role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling admission inquiries, nurturing parent relationships, and supporting the school's enrollment and communication goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Reception Management
- Welcome parents, visitors, students, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area and ensure a positive first impression of the school.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
- Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes as per school policies.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings for school leadership and staff.
Admission Counseling
- Handle admission inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, social media, and website leads.
- Explain the school's curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission process to prospective parents.
- Conduct campus tours and orientation sessions for prospective families.
- Schedule admission assessments, interactions, and interviews.
- Follow up with prospective parents and maintain regular communication until admission closure.
- Maintain admission records and ensure proper documentation.
- Support the achievement of admission and enrollment targets.
Parent Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective parents.
- Address parent concerns, queries, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate communication between parents, teachers, and school administration.
- Support parent engagement initiatives, orientations, workshops, and school events.
- Ensure a high level of parent satisfaction through effective communication and service.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of admissions, inquiries, visitor logs, and correspondence.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to admissions and front office activities.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and official communications.
- Assist in preparing circulars, notices, and other administrative documents.
Marketing & Outreach Support
- Assist in promoting the school's programs, events, and achievements.
- Support admission campaigns, educational fairs, and outreach activities.
- Track and manage admission leads generated through various marketing channels.
- Represent the school positively during interactions with parents and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Degree or certification in Public Relations, Marketing, Communication, Education, or Administration is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Reception, Admissions, parent Relations, or School Administration.
- Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
