Job Description
InnoworQ Technologies is hiring Field Engineers – Networking to support preventive maintenance activities for Cisco networking infrastructure at customer locations. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career networking professionals who are passionate about networking technologies and are willing to work in night shifts.
The selected candidates will visit customer sites during the scheduled maintenance window to perform preventive maintenance, health checks, basic troubleshooting, and documentation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMT) and health checks on Cisco networking devices.
- Visit assigned customer locations during the night maintenance window.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, and networking equipment.
- Escalate critical issues to the NOC or senior network team.
- Complete PMT checklists and submit service reports on time.
- Follow customer SOPs, safety guidelines, and maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with Team Leads and Project Managers for daily work updates.
- Maintain professional communication with customers during site visits.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Computer Networking.
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, and Network Diagnostics.
- Familiarity with Cisco networking devices is preferred.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer locations.
- Comfortable working regular night shifts.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree / Graduate in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1+ years of networking field experience will be preferred.
- CCNA certification is an added advantage (not mandatory).
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- Laptop
- Android Smartphone
- Basic toolkit (Blower, Screwdriver Set, etc.)
- Valid Government ID Proof
Preferred Experience
- ISP or Telecom field operations.
- Cisco ASR/NCS platform exposure.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Based on experience)
- Conveyance Reimbursement:
- ₹3/km (Non-Hill Areas)
- ₹4/km (Hill Areas)
- Food Allowance: ₹250/day for travel exceeding 80 km
- Accommodation Reimbursement:
- Up to ₹500/night (Team Lead Approval)
- Above ₹500/night (Manager Approval Required)
