Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality Control to lead quality assurance and quality control activities for our plastic packaging manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems, customer complaint handling, audits, process improvement, and team management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Plastic Engineering, Chemistry, or Engineering.
- 6–8 years of Quality Control experience in Plastic Packaging (Flexible or Rigid Packaging).
- Experience in leading a team of 5–10 quality professionals.
- Strong knowledge of ISO, GMP, 7 QC Tools, RCA, CAPA, and process improvement techniques.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience: 6–8 Years
Industry Preference: Plastic Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Rigid Packaging, Polymer Manufacturing, Packaging Films
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of polymers and flexible packaging materials.
- Hands-on experience with physical and mechanical testing methods.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Lead Incoming, In-process, and Finished Goods Quality Inspection activities.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement CAPA.
- Prepare and review COA, quality reports, inspection records, and MIS.
- Support Internal, Customer, and Certification Audits.
- Drive 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Culture initiatives.
- Monitor product quality, process variation, and rejection trends.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
- Coordinate supplier quality approvals and incoming material inspection.
- Maintain testing records, DQRs, traceability, and quality documentation.
- Lead and mentor a team of QC Engineers, Inspectors, and Technicians.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
