Job Description: Hospital Receptionist
Role Summary:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role manages the front desk, coordinates appointments, and assists with basic administrative duties to ensure smooth daily hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Welcome: Greet patients and visitors warmly and guide them to the right department.
- Appointments & Inquiries: Answer phone calls, book doctor appointments, and answer general questions about hospital timings and services.
- Registration: Collect patient details, fill out registration forms, and maintain accurate files.
- Front Desk Management: Keep the waiting area neat and orderly; handle incoming and outgoing couriers or letters.
- Billing Support: Help with basic billing, collecting registration fees, and issuing receipts.
Requirements
- Education: High school graduate or any degree.
- Languages: Fluent in Tamil and English.
- Skills: Basic computer skills (typing and data entry) and a polite, helpful attitude.
