- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily CNC Turning
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Allocate manpower according to production plans.
- Monitor machine utilization and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Minimize machine downtime and improve productivity.
- Coordinate shift handover activities.
- Ensure production as per Control Plan, SOP, and Work Instructions.
- Monitor process capability and product quality.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Conduct first-off and last-piece verification.
- Verify CNC programs before production.
- Monitor tooling life and cutting parameters.
- Ensure correct fixtures, gauges, and measuring instruments are used.
- Support process improvements and cycle time reduction.
- Implement Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Poka-Yoke.
- Participate in FMEA, Control Plan, and Process Audit activities.
- Support cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.
- Educational . Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience. Minimum 2 years as CNC Supervisor
