Job description
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, invites applications for the position of Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Prasanna Ramani.
The position focuses on the development of luminescent organic materials, with particular emphasis on self-assembly and the tuning of photophysical properties using liquid crystal matrices.
Desired skills
Strong knowledge and extensive experience in organic synthesis/methodologies.
Experience with transition-metal-catalysed reactions.
Hands-on experience in structural characterisation techniques, including NMR, HRMS, fluorescence spectroscopy, and related analytical methods.
Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
The researcher will contribute to collaborative projects, mentor doctoral and postgraduate students, and disseminate findings through high-quality publications.
