Purpose
The role of Design Engineer (Electrical) within the Electrical Department. It serves as a reference for recruitment, performance evaluation, and alignment with organizational objectives. The Design Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate electrical and ELV system designs, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting project electrical and execution through technical expertise and documentation accuracy.
Role and Responsibilities
1 Electrical/ELV/BMS Design & Engineering
· Prepare detailed designs and engineering documentation for Electrical, ELV (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Data/Voice), and BMS/EMS systems.

2 Drawing Review
· Review GA, SLDs, wiring diagrams, ceiling plans (RCP), socket layouts, looping/power circuit drawings, and as-built drawings.

3 Load Calculations
· Conduct electrical load calculations and sizing of electrical equipment such as transformers and DG sets.
·
4 Power Distribution Design
· Design lighting and power systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with project specifications.
·
5 Material Indenting
· Prepare material indents and BOQs for Electrical and ELV systems, ensuring alignment with approved drawings.
·
6 Coordination with Procurement & Site
· Provide technical support to the procurement and site execution teams.
·
7 Vendor & Client Coordination
· Attend inspections at vendor sites and participate in client/consultant technical or kick-off meetings.
·
8 Drawing Coordination
· Coordinate Electrical/ELV/BMS drawings with other services like HVAC, Utility, Process, and Cleanroom layouts to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth execution.

9 Documentation & Record Management
· Maintain proper drawing/document control including numbering, templates, revision logs, and storage in designated folders.
·
10 Technical Support
· Perform other detailing or design-related tasks as instructed by the project management or Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
6-8 years of experience in Electrical/ELV/BMS design, preferably in cleanroom or industrial/commercial project environments
Skills:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools
· Strong communication and coordination skills
· Technical document interpretation
· Electrical load calculation and BOQ preparation
Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
