Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MEP QA/QC Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP construction and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor QA/QC activities for MEP works.
- Conduct inspections for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and other MEP installations.
- Review shop drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals.
- Prepare and implement ITPs, inspection checklists and quality procedures.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved specifications.
- Prepare and manage MIR, WIR, NCR and corrective action reports.
- Monitor site installation activities and ensure proper workmanship.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams for inspections.
- Witness and coordinate MEP testing and commissioning activities.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, test reports, material certificates and QA/QC records.
- Conduct site quality audits and inspections.
- Support snagging, punch-list clearance and final project handover.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant codes and standards.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP QA/QC.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
- Experience in MEP inspection, testing, commissioning and documentation.
- Good knowledge of ITP, MIR, WIR, NCR and QA/QC procedures.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, industrial or infrastructure projects is preferred.
