We are looking for a skilled and responsible Project Engineer – Electrical to join the Electrical Department at GO EC AUTOTECH PVT LTD, Trivandrum. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring electrical projects, particularly EV charging infrastructure and related electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor electrical projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of EV charging stations and related electrical systems.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, material requirements, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, electrical teams, and other departments.
- Conduct site visits and assess electrical requirements, site conditions, and installation feasibility.
- Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and timelines.
- Ensure proper installation of cables, panels, earthing systems, protection devices, and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable electrical safety standards and company procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for electrical materials and equipment.
- Verify material quality and quantity received at project sites.
- Support testing and commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and take necessary precautions at project sites.
- Handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks according to project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in electrical project execution, installation, or commissioning will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, distribution panels, earthing, protection systems, and electrical safety.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic project documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
