Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications written in Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to integrate services with the app.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Identify and fix bugs to improve application performance and stability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technology and Kotlin.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Android developer specializing in Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android architecture, and Jetpack libraries.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and experience with Java (if needed).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Experience with modern Android libraries (e.g., Coroutines, LiveData, Room).
- Understanding of mobile design principles and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of MVVM and MVC architecture and clean code principles.
- Experience with continuous integration and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt.
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
