Job Description
Torc Edu is looking for a motivated and responsible Business Development Executive to connect with students and parents, explain our programs, follow up with leads, and support admissions.
The candidate will be responsible for handling enquiries, explaining course details, maintaining follow-ups, and converting interested students into admissions. This role is suitable for candidates with good communication skills, confidence, patience, and a target-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Handle student and parent enquiries through calls, walk-ins, social media leads, and referrals.
Explain course details, fees, training process, placement support, and career opportunities.
Follow up with leads, schedule counselling/campus visits, and convert interested students into admissions.
Maintain lead records, call updates, follow-up status, and admission details in the CRM/tracking system.
Achieve monthly admission targets, prepare sales reports, and support marketing/admission activities.
Required Skills
Good communication, convincing, and counselling skills.
Strong follow-up ability and target-oriented mindset.
Ability to explain course benefits clearly to students and parents.
Basic computer knowledge, including CRM, Google Sheets, Excel, or lead tracking tools.
Positive attitude, patience, teamwork skills, and knowledge of Malayalam/English will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Business Development or Sales.
Proven ability to generate leads, build client relationships and achieve sales targets
Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Candidates with strong sales ability, communication skills, and practical experience may also be considered even without a specific degree.
Salary
₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month
Salary will be based on experience, communication skills, sales ability, counselling skills, target achievement capability, and overall performance.
Incentives may be provided based on admissions, target achievement, and company policy.
