Job Description – Assistant Manager (Procurement)
- Designation: Assistant Manager – Procurement
- Locations: HO, VFORM Hyderabad, Secure Hyderabad, VFORM Tirupati
- Any Graduate (MBA/Supply Chain Management preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchase, or Supply Chain Management.
- SAP (Procurement/Purchase Module)
- Advanced Excel
- Procurement and Vendor Management
Procurement Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned locations.
- Source materials, services, and equipment as per business requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost standards.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers and resolve procurement-related issues.
Cost Optimization
- Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings.
- Conduct comparative analyses and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Support budget control initiatives and procurement planning.
SAP & Documentation
- Create and manage procurement transactions in SAP.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare procurement MIS reports using Advanced Excel.
- Track purchase orders, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs.
- Present procurement data and insights to management.
Coordination
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Production, Finance, and Stores teams.
- Ensure timely material availability to avoid operational disruptions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and process compliance.
