1. Position Overview
The Quality Engineer will execute day-to-day inspection activities across incoming materials, in-process component fabrication, motor sub-assemblies, and finished fan performance testing. A key aspect includes stringent inspection of out-sourced plastic molded components and conducting electrical safety/performance checks on finished TPW fans.
2. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) on out-sourced plastic molded parts (fan blades, motor covers, base assemblies, switch panels) checking for dimensional accuracy, flash, color consistency, and fitment.
- Conduct Process Quality Control (PQC) across motor winding (resistance/insulation test), shaft turning tolerances, and sub-assembly workstations.
- Execute 100% Final Quality Control (FQC) checks on finished fans, including high-voltage leak tests, wattage consumption, RPM, oscillation mechanism smooth function, and visual inspection.
- Maintain detailed daily inspection records, rejection logs, non-conformance reports (NCR), and Pareto charts.
- Manage routine calibration and maintenance of quality measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, multimeters, wattmeters, tachometers).
3. Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 2 years of quality control experience in fan manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, operating precision instruments, and performing basic electrical measurements.
- Keen eye for detail, process discipline, and structured reporting capability.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
