Job Summary
The Senior Ayurveda Therapist is responsible for delivering authentic Ayurvedic therapies and wellness treatments while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, guest care, and service excellence. The role also includes mentoring junior therapists, maintaining treatment rooms, and supporting the smooth operation of the Ayurveda Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Ayurvedic therapies as prescribed by the Ayurvedic Doctor. Prepare therapy rooms, herbal oils, and treatment materials before each session.
Ensure proper execution of Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic treatments according to SOPs.
Maintain excellent guest comfort, privacy, and professionalism throughout treatments.
Guide and supervise junior therapists to ensure consistent service quality.
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and linens.
Maintain treatment records and report guest observations to the Ayurvedic Doctor. Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of oils, herbs, and therapy materials.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures. Coordinate with the front office and other departments for seamless guest service.
Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when required. Participate in training sessions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Ayurveda Therapy or a recognized Ayurveda Therapist certification.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Ayurveda Therapist, preferably in a reputed hospital, wellness centre, or luxury resort.
Strong knowledge of Panchakarma therapies and traditional Ayurvedic treatment techniques.
Ability to lead and train a team of therapists. Skills & Competencies Excellent therapy techniques and practical knowledge.
Leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Guest-focused approach with professional grooming. Time management and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform therapies efficiently.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
