Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations for our Air Ticketing and Real Estate business. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, along with the ability to handle industry-specific transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Handle accounts payable & receivable
Air Ticketing Accounting
- Manage ticketing transactions, BSP (Billing & Settlement Plan) reconciliation
- Track airline payments, commissions, and refunds
- Monitor daily sales and settlement reports
Real Estate Accounting
- Manage property-related transactions, booking amounts, and receivables
- Track project-wise costing and revenue recognition
- Maintain records of agreements, advances, and client payments
- Handle vendor payments and contractor billing
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare and file returns on time
- Coordinate with auditors for internal & external audits
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis
- Assist management in budgeting and forecasting
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience (preferably in air ticketing or real estate)
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel (advanced), and accounting tools
- Familiarity with BSP, GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
