- Job Summary
- The Tendering Manager is responsible for managing the complete tendering and bidding process for infrastructure and real estate projects. The role involves identifying tender opportunities, coordinating with internal departments, preparing techno-commercial proposals, analyzing project requirements, negotiating with vendors/subcontractors, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids.
- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of infrastructure construction, contract management, estimation, procurement, and project costing within the real estate sector.
- Key Responsibilities
- Tender Management
- Review and analyze RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents.
- Manage end-to-end tender submission processes for infrastructure and real estate projects.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement, legal, and finance teams for bid preparation.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, commercial requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
- Cost Estimation & Pricing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing strategies.
- Analyze project scope, drawings, specifications, and risks.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate cost optimization opportunities to improve bid competitiveness.
- Bid Coordination
- Develop tender schedules and submission timelines.
- Maintain bid trackers and tender databases.
- Conduct pre-bid meetings and clarify technical/commercial queries with clients.
- Coordinate preparation of presentations and proposal documentation.
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Support contract finalization and handover to execution teams after project award.
- Market & Risk Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
- Assess project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support management in strategic decision-making for project bidding.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all tender submissions comply with company standards and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, contracts, correspondence, and approvals.
- Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- MBA or PG Diploma in Project Management/Contracts Management is preferred.
- Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in tendering, estimation, contracts, or commercial functions in infrastructure/real estate projects.
- Experience handling large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments preferred.
- Required Skills

- Knowledge of infrastructure construction methodologies and BOQ preparation.
- Expertise in cost estimation and project budgeting.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, EPC, item-rate, and lump-sum contracts.
