Job Description (JD) – Electrician
Position: Electrician
Institution: Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science, Raigad Hospital & Research Centre, Karjat, Raigad
Qualification
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hospital, healthcare, educational institution, or commercial building maintenance preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, switches, and equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply across hospital and campus facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
- Maintain DG sets, UPS systems, transformers, and emergency power systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and hospital regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical work when required.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
- Support infrastructure and facility management activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
- Understanding of electrical safety procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
