Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of automotive components, raw materials, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock management, compliance with quality and safety standards, and uninterrupted material flow to support production and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper storage as per FIFO / LIFO practices.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or excess.
Material Receipt & Inspection
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with Quality team for inspection and acceptance.
- Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entry in ERP system.
Material Issuance & Dispatch
- Issue materials to production as per authorized requisitions.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods and spare parts.
- Maintain traceability of automotive components and batches.
Documentation & ERP Handling
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and ERP entries.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Warehouse Organization & Safety
- Maintain proper bin locations and labeling system.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
- Follow 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Stock Verification & Audits
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
- Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Inventory control & warehouse management
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of automotive parts & supply chain flow
- Understanding of FIFO/LIFO, batch control & traceability
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Basic MS Excel & reporting skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or BE in Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile.
- Experience: 2–5 years in stores(automotive/Manufacturing/Automobile preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in automotive OEM / Tier-1 / Tier-2 manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF documentation requirements
- Exposure to barcode/RFID inventory systems
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
