Key responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests; present menus, daily specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate orders, make confident menu and beverage recommendations, and upsell when appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously; ensure correct billing and order accuracy.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar to manage timings and special requests.
- Maintain clean, organized dining areas and table settings between covers.
- Handle guest requests and resolve routine complaints professionally; escalate serious issues to manager.
- Process payments using POS; follow cash handling and closing procedures.
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and alcohol-service regulations.
- Assist with opening/closing duties and side work (restocking, polishing, mise en place).
Qualifications & skills
- 1–3 years' experience as a server in cafes or casual dining (preferred).
- Clear communication in English and Marathi/Hindi; other languages are a plus.
- Warm, professional demeanor with strong multitasking skills during busy periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Basic knowledge of coffee, tea, and common beverage service (barista/cocktail knowledge is a plus).
- Available for rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Compensation & benefits
- Salary: INR 16,000–26,000 per month (depending on experience) + tips/shared service charge.

Assistant Server / Food Runner (Full-Time or Part-Time) — Third Place, Pune
About Third Place
Join a friendly, fast-paced team that supports smooth service and keeps guests coming back. Assistant Servers are key to maintaining speed and consistency on the floor.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver dishes from kitchen to table quickly and accurately.
- Assist servers with clearing plates, refilling water/condiments, and bussing tables.
- Reset and sanitize tables between guests.
- Restock service stations, polish cutlery, and maintain supply levels.
- Communicate timing and order issues to servers and kitchen staff.
- Support general cleanliness of dining and service areas.
- Help receive and store small deliveries when needed.
Qualifications & skills
- 0–1 year experience preferred; open to energetic entry-level candidates.
- Physically fit; able to carry trays and be on feet for long shifts.
- Quick learner, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Basic communication in English and Marathi/Hindi.
- Available for peak shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & benefits
- Salary: INR 14,000–17,000 per month (full-time)+ tips/shared service charge.
