Full Stack Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Position Overview
We’re seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain our cloud-based applications. You’ll work closely with the senior engineer on feature development, infrastructure tasks, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Implement features across both frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript) under guidance from the senior engineer
- Frontend Development: Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using Next.js 16 (App Router) and Tailwind CSS v4
- Backend Development: Develop RESTful APIs and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js
- API Implementation: Implement APIs according to OpenAPI 3.0.3 specifications, leverage Swagger UI for documentation
- Database Work: Write PostgreSQL queries, implement database migrations, and work with Redis for caching and pub/sub patterns
- Testing & QA: Write unit tests using Vitest, participate in property-based testing with Hypothesis, ensure code quality
- Containerization & Deployment: Containerize applications using Docker/Podman, assist with Kubernetes deployments
- CI/CD Support: Support CI/CD pipeline execution and troubleshooting
- Code Review Participation: Submit pull requests for review, participate constructively in code reviews
- Documentation: Write clear documentation for features, APIs, and deployment procedures
- Learning & Growth: Actively learn from the senior engineer and take on progressively more complex responsibilities
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building frontend applications with React or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with backend development (Node.js, Typescript)
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Basic knowledge of containerization concepts (Docker)
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Understanding of HTTP/REST APIs
- Ability to write basic unit tests
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Redis or caching strategies
- Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices
- Understanding of API design principles
- Experience with property-based testing or advanced testing methodologies
Pay: ₹379,742.59 - ₹1,032,147.59 per year
