Radiology Technician
Department: Radiology
Location: Saraswati Education society's Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science & Raigad Hospital & Research Centre
Reports To: Radiologist / HOD – Radiology
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray, CT, MRI and other radiology procedures as assigned.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly.
- Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control and hospital protocols.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.
- Coordinate with Radiologists, Doctors and other hospital staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure patient safety at all times.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Relevant registration/certification as applicable.
Experience
- 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers may be considered based on institutional requirements.
