Coordinates with other staff to develop and maintain effective working relationships and coordination of various functions of the department including storage, service, food preparation and production, clean-up and sanitationParticipates in appropriate meetings/seminars within and outside the organization to enhance skills, customer service practices, and to remain current on development in nutritional services and meet regulatory requirementsAttends scheduled Sanitation Training and other programs as required or assignedMust have knowledge of soups, sauces, quantity cooking, and proper food sanitation and handlingAssures effective portion control and optimum utilization of leftoversImplements established policies and procedures for operation to achieve departmental goals and objectives and comply with regulatory requirements
