Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Department: Electrical / Projects
Industry: Pre-Engineered Building (PEB)
Reporting To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to handle electrical design, planning, execution, and coordination for PEB and industrial building projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical drawings, load calculations, material requirements, site coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards.
- Prepare and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and electrical drawings.
- Perform electrical load calculations and prepare connected load and demand load schedules.
- Design and coordinate lighting, power distribution, earthing, cable routing, and electrical panels.
- Prepare electrical BOQ and material requirements.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, PEB, HVAC, and other project teams.
- Review electrical drawings and specifications received from clients/consultants.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for electrical equipment and materials.
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation work at project sites.
- Ensure electrical work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspect electrical materials and installations for quality and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and site-related technical issues.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed within the required quality, cost, and schedule parameters.
- Follow applicable IS/IEC standards and electrical safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical design, execution, or industrial projects.
- Experience in PEB, industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, or construction projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and cable sizing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD.
- MS Excel and MS Office.
- Electrical design/calculation software will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and project execution.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety standards.
Experience
Experience: 2–6 years in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Projects / PEB preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
