Role Objective
The Food Safety Officer will ensure that all production processes at the Brahman Pipliya facility meet national and international food safety standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our bakery ingredients and decorations through rigorous monitoring and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- HACCP Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan across all production lines.
- Quality Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO 22000, and HACCP standards.
- Monitoring CCPs: Supervise Critical Control Points (CCPs) in the production flow, ensuring that temperature, hygiene, and contamination risks are managed.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Oversee the cleaning and sanitation protocols (SSOPs) for the factory floor, machinery, and staff.
- Vendor & Raw Material Assessment: Inspect incoming raw materials and evaluate vendors to ensure they meet Baker’sville’s quality benchmarks.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of food safety logs, lab test reports, and non-conformity reports (NCR).
- Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions for factory workers on Personal Hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food handling.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: B.Sc/M.Sc in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Certification: Must hold a valid HACCP certification.
- Experience: 2+ years in food safety/quality assurance within the food manufacturing or bakery industry.
- Technical Skills: * Thorough knowledge of FSSAI regulations and global food safety trends.
- Expertise in identifying physical, chemical, and biological hazards.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and data management.
