Job Overview:
We are hiring a skilled and creative Fashion Designing, Tailoring & Garment Construction Trainer to train students in practical and modern apparel skills. The role involves hands-on training, guiding students in design, stitching, and preparing them for employment or self-employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train students in sewing machine operations and garment construction
- Teach fashion designing basics, sketching, and fabric understanding
- Provide training in tailoring techniques and finishing
- Introduce embroidery (hand & machine) skills
- Guide students in apparel entrepreneurship (boutique setup, costing, product ideas)
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure skill development
- Maintain attendance, progress reports, and training records
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fashion designing, tailoring, and garment construction
- Basic skills in sketching and design concepts
- Knowledge of embroidery techniques
- Good communication and classroom handling skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma / Certification in Fashion Designing / Tailoring / Apparel
- Prior experience as a trainer/instructor preferred
