The role is responsible for generating business opportunities, promoting loan products, acquiring customers, developing referral networks, and achieving assigned sales and disbursement targets. The candidate should possess strong communication, relationship-building, and field-sales capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
· Identify and generate new business opportunities within assigned markets.
· Develop and maintain an active pipeline of prospective customers.
· Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, and business-development activities.
· Promote the company’s loan products to suitable customer segments.
· Convert qualified leads into completed applications and disbursements.
2. Customer Acquisition
· Source customers through direct sales, referrals, field activities, campaigns, and channel partners.
· Understand customers’ financial requirements and recommend suitable loan products.
· Explain product features, eligibility criteria, interest rates, charges, repayment terms, and required documentation.
· Ensure transparent and responsible communication with customers.
· Support customers throughout the application and onboarding process.
3. Channel and Partner Development
· Build and maintain relationships with dealers, Direct Selling Agents, referral partners, and other business associates.
· Identify and onboard new channel partners in line with company procedures.
· Generate regular business from assigned partners.
· Conduct partner visits and provide product and process support.
· Monitor partner performance and address service-related concerns.
4. Loan Application Coordination
· Assist customers in completing loan applications and submitting the required documents.
· Conduct preliminary verification of customer and application details.
· Coordinate with credit and operations teams for verification, approval, and disbursement.
· Follow up on pending documents, queries, and approval conditions.
· Maintain accurate status updates for all sourced applications.
5. Target Achievement
· Achieve assigned monthly targets for leads, applications, sanctions, disbursements, and revenue.
· Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and follow-up schedule.
· Monitor daily and weekly performance against targets.
· Implement corrective actions where performance is below expectations.
· Contribute to branch and organisational business objectives.
6. Customer Relationship Management
· Build long-term relationships with customers and referral sources.
· Maintain professional engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
· Coordinate the resolution of application, disbursement, and service-related queries.
· Seek referrals from satisfied customers.
· Support repayment follow-ups when required without engaging in unauthorised collection practices.
7. Market Development
· Track local market conditions, competitor products, pricing, and customer preferences.
· Identify potential customer segments and unexplored business locations.
· Participate in promotional activities, customer meetings, and lead-generation campaigns.
· Provide market feedback to management for product and sales-strategy improvement.
8. Compliance and Reporting
· Follow RBI guidelines, KYC and AML requirements, fair-practice standards, and internal policies.
· Ensure that customer information and documents are authentic and complete.
· Avoid misrepresentation, unauthorised commitments, and unethical sourcing practices.
· Update all leads, follow-ups, applications, and closures in the CRM or designated tracker.
· Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Qualification and Experience
· Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
· Experience in financial-product sales, vehicle finance, loans, insurance, banking, fintech, or NBFC operations is preferred.
· Freshers with excellent communication skills, strong sales aptitude, and willingness to undertake fieldwork may also apply.
· A valid driving licence and personal vehicle would be an advantage.
