Job Title: Engineer – IT Infra – Compute (Windows)Location: ThrissurMain ResponsibilitiesWindows Server Environment: O/S support Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 Configure/maintain Active Directory Domain Services and Group policy management. Configure/maintain DNS, DHCP, File Server, Web Server (IIS), and Network Policy Server (NPS) roles Configure/maintain Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). Configure/maintain SQL Server installations along with scheduled backup, mirroring, and logshipping. Perform operating system state backups as well as user/application data online/offline/cloudbackups. Perform security updates and Operating System hardening activities. Knowledge in cloud based antivirus management. Tool based Performance monitoring. (PRTG)General Responsibilities: Maintain a definitive library for OS, Applications, product guides, device firmware, etc. Maintain and update configuration documents Maintain assets and software license/subscriptions Vendor coordination and support Maintain SLAs and do timely escalations. Report all incident/service/change requests in the helpdesk tool. Provide after-hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.Qualification:• Graduate or above• 2+ years of experience inWindows Servers• CompTIA A+• MCSE, ADDS Certification(Optional)Competence:• Confidentiality• Work EthicsSkills:• Excellent troubleshootingskills• Proven experience as serveradmin or similar role• Exceptional organizing andtime-management skills• Very good communicationabilities• Windows Server2016/2019/2022 operatingsystem management skills• Basic Understanding ofcloud platforms.
