Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant who can independently handle the complete accounting function of the organization. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, banking, compliance, MIS and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete day-to-day accounting operations independently.
- Maintain Tally/Accounting software and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Manage purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
- Handle bank reconciliation and daily bank transactions.
- Manage cash transactions and daily cash records.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Monitor customer outstanding and vendor payments.
- Prepare monthly MIS, profit & loss statement, balance sheet and other financial reports.
- Manage GST accounting, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation.
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return-related work.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, vendors and clients when required.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory compliance.
- Check accounting accuracy and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Prepare management reports and financial summaries as required.
- Ensure timely completion of all accounting and compliance-related activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Take full ownership of the accounting department and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS and basic taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of Excel/MIS reporting.
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the complete accounts function.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
What We Are Looking For
A hands-on Senior Accountant who can independently manage the company's complete accounting process rather than only performing data-entry work.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
