he Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects within the steel manufacturing or fabrication facility. The role includes ensuring structural integrity, overseeing construction activities, maintaining plant infrastructure, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise civil construction projects, including industrial buildings, foundations, roads, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Supervise contractors and construction teams to ensure work is completed according to approved designs and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Design and inspect foundations for heavy steel structures, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and production departments during project execution.
- Review and approve contractor bills, material quantities, and project documentation.
- Monitor project budgets and control construction costs.
- Perform structural assessments and recommend repairs or modifications to existing facilities.
- Maintain project records, reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Support preventive maintenance of civil infrastructure within the plant.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional engineering registration/licensure (preferred where applicable).
- 0–1 years of experience in industrial, steel plant, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in structural steel construction and industrial foundations is preferred.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
