The Sales Consultant – Cancer Diagnostics is responsible for promoting and driving the adoption of oncology diagnostic services among oncologists, pathologists, hospitals, cancer centers, and healthcare institutions. The role focuses on generating referrals, building strong customer relationships, increasing test utilization, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining a high level of scientific and technical understanding of cancer diagnostics.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Promote cancer diagnostic services, including histopathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), molecular diagnostics, NGS, liquid biopsy, and companion diagnostics.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, pathologists, surgeons, hematologists, and hospital administrators.
- Increase test referrals and strengthen existing customer accounts.
Customer Relationship Management
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and provide appropriate diagnostic solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely support and issue resolution.
- Maintain strong engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth.
Scientific & Product Promotion
- Deliver product presentations, scientific discussions, and service demonstrations.
- Educate healthcare professionals about the clinical utility and benefits of diagnostic tests.
- Support the organization of CMEs, scientific meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Keep customers updated on advancements in oncology diagnostics and personalized medicine.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities through CRM systems.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and territory development plans.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with laboratory operations, logistics, customer support, and medical affairs teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Facilitate sample collection and transportation processes when required.
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Master's Degree or MBA in Marketing preferred.
- 2–6 years of experience in diagnostic sales, oncology diagnostics, pathology services, or healthcare sales.
- Experience in cancer diagnostics or molecular diagnostics will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
