Job Summary
The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in history, geography, civics, economics, and related subjects. The teacher promotes critical thinking, cultural awareness, and responsible citizenship while helping students understand historical and contemporary social issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, tests, and presentations.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Use technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
- Encourage critical thinking, research, and discussion skills.
- Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Social Studies, Geography, Political Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹36,612.92 per month
