Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Team Lead to oversee the manufacturing operations of Spirulina Extract. The ideal candidate will lead production teams, ensure operational excellence, maintain compliance with cGMP and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
- Manage end-to-end shop floor manufacturing operations for Spirulina Extract.
- Execute daily and weekly production plans to achieve volume, yield, and throughput targets.
- Monitor production performance and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and equipment.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise production operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Plan shift schedules and allocate daily production activities.
- Conduct shift handovers, team briefings, and performance monitoring.
- Foster a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company safety standards.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and operational readiness.
Process Improvement
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Investigate process deviations and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.
- Support equipment changeovers and production readiness activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve production and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering or Food Technology.
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in manufacturing or process industries, preferably in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or related sectors.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and shop floor management.
- Technical understanding of Clara Centrifuge, Homogenizers, Membrane Filtration Units, Centrifugation, and Spray Dryers.
- Experience with cGMP, SOPs, BMR documentation, and CAPA processes.
- Excellent leadership, shift management, and team coordination skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹13,307.17 - ₹45,000.00 per month
