What you will do:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributor partners aligned with company growth strategy and market expansion goals
- Develop and execute comprehensive distributor partnership agreements, including terms, margins, performance metrics, and exclusivity arrangements
- Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with distributor leadership, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs for all distributors; monitor compliance with agreements and sales targets
- Conduct regular business reviews with key partners to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address challenges
- Provide distributors with training, sales enablement materials, marketing support, and technical resources to maximize their effectiveness
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless partner integration and support
- Forecast distributor channel revenue and pipeline; develop action plans to achieve volume and revenue targets
- Manage partner lifecycle, including recruitment, development, performance management, and exit strategy when necessary
- Identify and resolve partner disputes, performance issues, and escalations quickly and professionally
- 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, business development, or similar roles
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting, developing, and managing distributor or reseller channels
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with ability to structure mutually beneficial partnerships
- Experience with P&L responsibility and revenue forecasting in a channel/partnership context
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and persuade at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams
- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and channel management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Experience managing distributed teams or multiple partners across different geographies
- Familiarity with specific industry/product category markets and distribution channels
- Experience with marketing development funds (MDF) and co-marketing initiative
