Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Lecturer to teach and train students in core civil engineering subjects. The lecturer will be responsible for classroom teaching, laboratory practicals, student assessment, project guidance, and developing students' technical and professional skills.

- Geotechnical Engineering
- Transportation Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Estimation and Costing
- Construction Management
- Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, question papers, and teaching materials.
- Conduct laboratory practicals, demonstrations, field surveys, and technical activities.
- Guide students in academic projects, practical assignments, and final-year projects.
- Evaluate students through examinations, assignments, practicals, presentations, and internal assessments.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, laboratory records, and student performance reports.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and career support to students.
- Organize industrial visits, technical workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and field training.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of civil engineering laboratory equipment.
- Promote safety procedures during laboratory and field activities.
- Stay updated with current civil engineering technologies, construction practices, and relevant standards.
- Coordinate student internships and industrial training where required.
- Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, curriculum planning, and institutional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
- Relevant teaching or industry experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of core civil engineering subjects.
- Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Practical knowledge of civil engineering laboratory and field work.
Desired Skills
- Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of surveying and construction practices.
- Ability to conduct laboratory and field practicals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional attitude and teamwork.
Experience
1–3 years of teaching or relevant civil engineering industry experience preferred. F with strong academic qualifications and subject knowledge may also be considered.
