Job Summary:
The Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital by coordinating departmental activities, ensuring smooth patient flow, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies. The role focuses on operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and effective coordination among various departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Monitor daily hospital operations to ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
- Assist in implementing operational improvement initiatives.
Patient Services
- Monitor patient registration, admission, discharge, and billing processes.
- Address patient complaints and coordinate timely resolution.
- Ensure a positive patient experience by maintaining service quality standards.
Quality & Compliance
- Support NABH quality initiatives and hospital accreditation activities.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and statutory regulations.
- Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain records of operational issues and follow-up actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest process improvements.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in vendor coordination and facility management.
- Ensure availability of operational resources and equipment.
- Support emergency preparedness and disaster management activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (BHA/MHA), Healthcare Management, Business Administration (BBA/MBA), or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare administration.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered.
