We are looking for a motivated Production Engineer to join our plastic injection moulding manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, and improving manufacturing efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Achieve production targets with optimum machine utilization.
- Monitor injection moulding process parameters and ensure process stability.
- Coordinate mould changeovers and machine start-ups.
- Reduce rejection, scrap, and machine downtime.
- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Stores departments.
- Supervise machine operators and production staff.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain production records.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes.
- Understanding of moulds, process parameters, and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Good communication and team management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing of plastic packaging, food containers, or injection moulded products.
- Exposure to PP, HDPE, ABS, or engineering plastics will be an added advantage.
