We are looking for a versatile Freelance Video Editor to join our creative network and help transform raw footage into visually stunning, high-converting video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage from commercial shoots, product promos, model shoots, and social media campaigns into cohesive, high-energy videos.
- Create snappy, high-retention short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) with dynamic cuts, kinetic captions, sound design, and trend-aware pacing.
- Mix background tracks, clean up voiceovers/dialogue, and utilize sound effects (SFX) to elevate visual impact.
- Apply color grading, seamless transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, lower-thirds, and brand-specific assets.
- Edit video ads for performance marketing (Google, Meta, YouTube) tailored to maximize hooks, CTR (click-through rates), and viewer retention.
- Deliver first drafts on scheduled deadlines and implement client/team feedback accurately and efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form social content, commercial ad edits, or brand promo videos.
- Mastery of industry-standard non-linear editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or CapCut Pro for animated titles, graphics, and visual effects is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of current video trends, audio hooks, and visual styles across Instagram, YouTube.
- Sharp eye for pacing, color consistency, typography, and audio levels.
Contract & Project Details
- Role Type: Remote & Freelance (Project-based)
- Workload: 5-6 short-form videos/week
- Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
