Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. The role focuses on integrating various components across the application lifecycle to ensure seamless functionality and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites, alongside developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts. The position also involves supporting data and environment configurations, actively participating in code reviews, and tracking defects to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes and overall product quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement automation strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance skills and promote best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure testing activities are aligned with business requirements and delivery timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support automated testing workflows.
- Familiarity with various testing frameworks and tools that enhance test automation efficiency and reliability.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledge of environment and data configuration to support comprehensive testing scenarios.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
