Sumanam Engineering Services Consultant is seeking an experienced and highly motivated BIM Manager to lead multidisciplinary BIM operations for large-scale international projects across the GCC, USA, Europe, and Australia. We are looking for a technically strong professional with extensive experience in BIM management, project coordination, team leadership, and international standards compliance across MEP, Architecture, Civil, and Structural domains.

Domain Expertise
Strong multidisciplinary experience in:

Software Expertise:
Candidates should possess advanced knowledge in:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks Manage
- BIM 360 / ACC
- AutoCAD
- Dynamo
- Clash Detection & Coordination Tools
- Common Data Environment (CDE) Platforms
Key Responsibilities:
1. BIM Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage BIM teams across multiple disciplines and projects.
- Develop BIM execution strategies aligned with client and project requirements.
- Establish BIM standards, workflows, templates, and quality procedures.
- Monitor project deliverables, schedules, and BIM compliance standards.
2. Project Coordination
- Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models including MEP, Architectural, Civil, and Structural systems.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Review and validate BIM deliverables before submission.
3. Technical Oversight
- Ensure adherence to international standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Manage LOD development, BIM documentation, and model accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to BIM teams.
- Oversee model health checks, QA/QC processes, and BIM audits.
4. Team Development
- Mentor BIM Coordinators, Modelers, and Design Engineers.
- Conduct technical reviews.
- Support recruitment, performance evaluation, and team development initiatives.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary BIM point of contact for clients and consultants.
- Attend client coordination meetings and technical discussions.
- Prepare BIM reports, progress updates, and execution plans.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- BIM-related certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple international projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO standards, and international coordination practices.
- Experience in handling large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
