Position: Senior Information Security Engineer
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Job Summary:
Immortal Technologies is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to safeguard our IT infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber security threats, while driving best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor computer networks continuously for security issues and anomalies
Understand and implement Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and Indicators of Attack (IoAs) shared by agencies such as NCIIPC, CERT-In, and MHA
Conduct Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) of network and IT assets using freeware/open-source tools, as required
Analyze daily logs from firewalls, antivirus servers, and other systems to identify security violations or lapses, and report findings to management
Develop and promote company-wide IT security best practices; assist colleagues with security software installation and awareness
Research emerging cyber security threats and technologies, and recommend enhancements to management
Collaborate with network and security teams to conduct tests and identify vulnerabilities
Investigate reported security breaches and cyber security incidents
Work with Network Administrators and the System & DB Architect to remediate detected vulnerabilities and maintain high security standards
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of network security monitoring and threat detection
Hands-on experience with VA/PT tools and methodologies
Familiarity with log analysis (firewall, antivirus, IDS/IPS)
Awareness of national cyber security frameworks and advisories (CERT-In, NCIIPC)
Strong incident response and investigation skills
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in IT/CS or related field; certifications like CEH, CISSP, or OSCP preferred
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
