About the Role
Belvaa Senior Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist to provide personalized rehabilitation and mobility support for senior residents. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping elderly individuals recover from surgery, stroke, fractures, orthopedic conditions, Parkinson’s disease, and age-related mobility challenges through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. Belvaa focuses on rehabilitation, assisted living, transition care, and medically supervised senior care programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for residents.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on clinical needs.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions including mobility training, gait training, balance exercises, strength conditioning, and pain management.
- Support post-operative, neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor resident progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, caregivers, and family members to ensure holistic care.
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility aids, fall prevention, and safe movement techniques.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care meetings and contribute to resident care plans.
- Promote functional independence and improve quality of life for senior residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Valid registration with the appropriate Physiotherapy Council.
- 1–5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, geriatric care, hospital, or senior living settings.
- Experience in neurological, orthopedic, or post-surgical rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
