SENIOR CONSULTANT – TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION
The Technology Transformation practice is one of the key practice areas within the Strategy & Business Transformation Practice and works with the technology leaders in the organization (CIO, CDO, CTO) to drive business and technology transformation. We partner with technology organizations to address gaps through business and technology capability roadmaps, technology governance, change management, technology sourcing, operating model strategies and business engagement. We recognize that true technology transformation comes through changes in culture and ways of interacting with business partners.
This role will be based in India and will work in close collaboration with the Hackett consulting team in the US to support client engagements globally. Senior Consultants are primarily responsible for planning, organizing and leading portions of an engagement. Senior Consultants are expected to ensure the quality of client deliverables and serve as competent, effective members of client delivery/project teams. They apply well-honed consulting, project management, and functional skills in the execution of the work.
Senior Consultants will typically be involved in the following activities:
- Completing and managing client work in accordance with established budgets, workplans, quality standards, and timeframes
- Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success
- Analyzing large quantities of data to derive business insights
- Find stories with data, determine what data matters (i.e., what is important to our clients), understand and provide context, structure the story, and develop easily understood data visualizations
- Structuring and solving problems from beginning to end
- Developing conclusions and recommendations
- Leading client interviews to understand complex business issues
- Developing content for client presentations
- Providing technical/functional content
- Providing implementation assistance as required
- Meeting with clients to assure assignment progress
- Maintaining and expanding client relationships through delivery of high-quality work
Leading, coaching, developing, and supervising the efforts of junior staff

Senior Consultants will typically have:
- 3-7 years of related strategy or transformation (not system integration) consulting (i.e., working closely with clients on assessments, analysis, problem framing, problem solving, solution identification, initiative prioritization, roadmap development, and transformation implementation) or industry experience in IT Leadership roles showing progression/promotion
- Outstanding analytical capability and the ability to synthesize their findings
- Demonstrated MS Office and data modeling and visualization kills
- Solid understanding of strategy and operations within targeted industries
- The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
An MBA or other relevant advanced degrees in Business, Engineering or Sciences from a top educational institution

Other Preferences:
- Candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred, however, candidates working remotely from other cities in India and willing to travel to Hyderabad on a periodic basis may also be considered
- Strong preference for candidates willing to start their days in the afternoon and work into the late evening hours (India Standard Time) to have 3-5 hours of overlap with the US team
