ob Summary
We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and assisting in delivering high-quality eye care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses
- Perform refraction and assist in contact lens fitting
- Identify eye abnormalities and refer patients to ophthalmologists when required
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Provide patient education on eye care and vision health
- Support front office and optical sales when needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Optometry
- Valid registration (if applicable)
- 1–2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an eye hospital or clinic setup
- Knowledge of ophthalmic equipment and procedures
- Malayalam & English communication skills
