- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring all cash-related transactions are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and general ledger balances.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams to resolve outstanding reconciling items.
- Ensure all reconciling items are appropriately categorized and cleared in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all bank reconciliations.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all cash accounts are reconciled accurately and timely.
- Monitor and track daily cash balances and bank activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation related to bank reconciliations.
- Assist with process improvements to streamline reconciliation and cash management activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or cash management, preferably in a reconciliation-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, AX, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools).
- High attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple bank accounts.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
