We're Hiring: Assistant Manager – Sales
Location: Bangalore | Hyderabad | Chennai
We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, negotiating rates, and driving revenue growth while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit existing customers regularly to strengthen relationships and ensure business continuity.
- Identify and acquire new customers to expand market reach and increase sales opportunities.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Provide competitive and accurate rate quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Maintain and update Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Revenue Reports, Customer Performance Reports, and Market Trend Reports.
- Monitor sales performance and present updates to management.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with commercial, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, bookings, and issue resolution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and relationship management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Cargo, Shipping, or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and target-oriented.
